The Los Banos Tomato Festival has something for everyone. 

 Events Old favorites are returning this year in addition to new exciting fun.  Interactive cooking chili relay, Jr. Chef pizza making contest, and cooking demonstrations will be led this year by Chef David White and Chef Natalie Cervantes, Kagome’s own Corporate Chefs and the Team of developers from Kagome’s Consumer Insights and Innovation department. Compete in the TOMATO CHOW DOWN eating contest, the crowd favorite the CROSS-FIT TUG-A-WAR competition watch the losing team fall in the Tomato Pit.



The Tomato Festival has become well known for the wide variety of music and entertainment. Local bands, artist and groups will entertain festival patrons throughout the festival. View local art, shop local vendors. Stroll down TOMATO ALLEY while eating, drinking and enjoying music.

 Children’s Entertainment Your children will enjoy our Tomato Patch area featuring entertainment and fun for the little ones. For those more adventurous kids or for the kids at heart, we are excited to announce that we are adding some carnival rides and games to our festival this year.


Food vendors will be all fired up and ready to tantalize your taste buds with a variety of delicious foods. While local vendors, artisans and craft enthusiast will be displaying and selling a  variety of wares

Farmers Market

What is a Tomato Festival without tomatoes? This year we are proud to announce our very own open air farmers market with a variety of different types of tomatoes, fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, chocolates, olive oil and local honey.


Producers Some of the country’s largest tomato processors are located in the Los Banos area. They play a vital part of our local economy and provide support to our farmers. Our tomato processors feed the world and we are proud that they are located here. These tomato processors will be here to educate and show-off their tomato products.

HIT, a Kagome subsidiary in Portugal, is based in a superb tomato growing region. These tomatoes are highly prized for their color and sweetness, which HIT turns into unique tomato ingredients and products. A newly established Agricultural Research Center studies new seed varieties and processing technologies in collaboration with other Kagome teams.

Kagome USA

Kagome USA has manufacturing and R&D facilities on both coasts, in California and Arkansas. Capabilities have evolved from pouched tomato sauces to include cream sauces, compound butters, margarines and spreads, and portion pack. With unmatched access to consistent tomato crops and other raw materials, the US operation is highly scaled, flexible, and efficient to meet global demands. United Genetics, a seed company based in California, recently joined the Kagome family.
